Graham Potter: Chelsea conceded too easily
Joao Felix opened the scoring for Chelsea early in the second half. However, Abdoulaye Doucoure headed Everton's equalizer from a corner in the 69th minute.
Chelsea continued to lead when Kai Havertz scored on the penalty spot. But Simms equalized in the 89th minute after overcoming Koulibaly and knocking down goalkeeper Kepa.
After the game, coach Graham Potter expressed his dissatisfaction when Chelsea conceded a goal against Everton: "We are very disappointed because we have dropped two points at home. There were a lot of positive things about this performance, but in the end we didn't defend well enough.
We controlled well for most of the game. But the first goal from a set-piece was very disappointing. We talked about it after the game.
The second goal was because we didn't attack well enough and left a big gap. Conceding such easy goals is annoying."
Although Chelsea are in a period of good form, it is clear that problems still exist. Chelsea finished the opponent very poorly and the attack of this team in general has not been in the best state.
