Gary Neville backs Manchester United to reach the Top 4 of the Premier League this season and ranks above Liverpool, Chelsea and Tottenham.
Erik ten Hag's side climbed to 5th place in the 2022/23 Premier League after a 1-0 win over West Ham at Old Trafford. Marcus Rashford's 100th goal is enough for the red half of Manchester to win 3 points and pass Chelsea on the table.
MU is now only 3 points behind Tottenham's 3rd place, remember that the Red Devils played 1 match less than the Spurs. While Arsenal and defending champion Manchester City are competing for the top two positions, the remaining two places in the Top 4 are also very fierce races.
Gary Neville commented on the Top 4 race after MU's victory over West Ham, the former Red Man defender said: "I think MU has a great chance to get into the Top 4 now, a great opportunity. Chelsea, Liverpool, and Tottenham all have problems, and MU can completely rank higher than these teams at the end of the season.
"I never would have thought of that four to five weeks ago, but looking at the squad and the way they are playing, Erik ten Hag is giving them a great spirit."
Former England midfielder Jamie Redknapp also believes MU will finish higher than Liverpool at the end of the season, he said: "It is difficult to predict how Liverpool will play for the rest of the season. Right now, MU looks better than Liverpool, that's obvious. I don't think Liverpool will be in the top four, I think MU will have a better season than them."
