Jamie Redknapp confirmed Casemiro was a key player to help MU win 1-0 over West Ham. Redknapp thinks that Casemiro makes everything too simple and this player understands everything in football too clearly.
Gary Neville and Erik ten Hag were both impressed with Casemiro's performance against West Ham. Coach Ten Hag affirmed that the Brazilian player is playing impressively but expects him to play even better in the future.

Sharing after the game, Redknapp said: “I was impressed. I've been watching Manchester United's midfield for a long time and have never seen a single combination or midfield that was enough to frighten the opposition.
What Casemiro brings is prestige to this team, calmness, quality and understanding. He knows when to close, when to cut the ball. We've seen plenty of times when Casemiro pocketed the opposing player and picked the right pass.
You can see other teams looking at him and thinking 'wow, Casemiro is there'. Casemiro always knows where he has to stand. Man United haven't had that in midfield for a long time. Long ago their midfield was sporadic and no one was there to hold the ball and deliver the right pass.
I think Casemiro played impressively today. Everything he does looks so simple. Casemiro has played for Real Madrid long enough to understand the game down to the corner.
Gary Neville added: “Casemiro helps other players improve. Eriksen, Casemiro and Fernandes are all not fast. Casemiro used to play with Kroos and Modric at Real. Kroos and Modric are much better players than Eriksen and Fernandes, but we can see similar styles here. Casemiro is doing similar jobs at Real Madrid.
That smoothness helps Man United have a better foundation. Man United have struggled a bit on the pitch of Man City. But two weeks after the season returns from the World Cup, Man City will go to Old Trafford. I will find it very interesting to see if Ten Hag chooses the same midfield trio, because it is a real challenge.”
Coach Ten Hag was also impressed with Casemiro's performance: "For me, he is brilliant. You can see why he won five Champions Leagues and is at the top of football. We can see that in every game and every training session. Casemiro will keep getting better and better.”
